oh Ryan, i really wish you hadn’t suspended my comic subscription on accident. All you left for me was last months chew issue. I mean new buffy came out and i don’t have it right now! how unfortunate is that? i got nada. I mean i could go to the other comic shops around me that have a better selection and normally have all my comics in stock. but i am a loyal customer and you guys are always friendly to me and spend time nerd talking with me and know exactly why i’m there. Good customer service, you guys really rule. So i will wait those 2 long weeks for my comics to come in. but ughhhhhh you ruined my week a little. :(

I’ve taken a couple of days to let the reality sink in on the cancellation of Eureka . I’m not upset that the series is coming to an end because the writing has gone well above my expectation in the previous and current season. I’m actually looking forward to seeing how they end such an epic story arc. I am however enraged that they are shortening the end by 6 episodes and leaving the writers to scurry a compacted finale. Syfy, this is seriously the last straw. I’m so tired of getting involved in such great storytelling and then the network killing off series such as Caprica and SGU without letting it grow to its potential. Instead we get crap like reality ghost hunting shows and wrestling….
Would we rather watch people in creepy buildings spend 30 minutes not finding ghosts? And seriously why is wrestling on your science fiction network? I just don’t get it. We need a new network that takes good writing and fan appreciation to heart. I want a network that will let writers and stories flourish . I want a place that won’t kill off greats like whedons firefly or dollhouse (fuck you fox) . Are we really a rare breed of television enthusiasts?
